Wedding invitations...hire professionals!

Elegant Events always recommends hiring a professional stationier when purchasing your wedding paper needs.  From the save-the-dates to invitations, to programs, place cards, table numbers and my personal favorite, the menu cards...a professional can make sure it's right.  They can help you carry a look, a feel, all the way through your wedding.  And custom does not have to mean terribly expensive. 

The wedding invitation is just one of those areas you've got to get right.  There are so many different scenarios that can be difficult, where proper ettiquette is a must.  Hire a professional and they can help you with making sure your invites are correct, that the proper numbers are orders, and they are sent out in a timely manner. One of our personal favorites is The Paper Place in Old West Chester!  I must admit I am a bit bias as we had the pleasure to assist Samantha with her wedding but we have loved their work forever.  They love what they do and they make the entire paper experience part of your overall wedding experience...a joy!

Adath Israel- a terrific jewish wedding in Cincinnati

We love working at Adath Israel.  Kathy Hass there is amazing to work with.  They really know how to do a wedding.  It's an honor for Elegant Events any time we have a chance to work there, from Ketubah to Yuchid, to Horrah.   This summer wedding was just beautiful.  Great decor, food, music..pretty much all you could want.  See for yourself from the photos from TM Photography. St Xavier and Cincinnati Club-navy and orange wedding.

This bride loved her detail.  They were a super fun couple.  Loved working with the entire family.  April from Bluebird did a great job capturing many of these special details beginning with the "shoes".  Doen't you just love them.  Her gown was the palest orange (almost a peach....lovely) and went perfect with everything including the cake by Spoon Full of Sugar.  Love the pic where Kevin of Ford Ellington is about to hand her bouquet to her as she waits for the ceremony to begin. The trolly by TLC Limo is always fun. The paper products in this wedding really added so much from the invitation, to the menu cards, to the place cards, to the table numbers.  I loved all of them. One of Elegant Events favorites for 2011- Whyoming Pres and Cincinnati Netherland Hilton

It's a great privledge when Elegant Events has the opportunity to plan a another siblings wedding!  It's wonderful to be called back, to be trusted again for a day so important. This is our second wedding for this family and we loved them all. Just wish they had more girls....

 Look at all the love and fun in this one!  Images by the amazing Laura Leppert, florals  Ford Ellington and lighting by Goodwin.  I don't think I have seen the Pavilion any prettier. Pink was the color of choice and worked perfectly from the colors in her bouquet, to the girls dresses, the uplighitng in the room and all the candy on the oh so cute candy bar, which also included tooth brushes (both bride and groom are dentist) and fun sun glasses. The cake was by Incredible Endings and guests dance the night away with Aivwave. Invitations were by Poeme and makeup by Jean Folchi.  It was just a flat out perfect day!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lovely Wedding at Pyramid Hill Park

We loved Blair & Christopher’s wedding.  Ceremony and reception were at Pyramid Hill Park.  What a fun and different kind of setting.  Ceremony was at the amphitheather.  Cocktails in an area of the park called Age of Stone and the reception under the Pavilion.  It was a beautiful day and a great family to work with.  We had a great vendor team too.  Ron Shuller's Creative Images captured amazing images. ( Thanks Ron for sharing these! )  Funky's Catering did a terrific job with the meal, both food and service.   Flowers by Nina’s Florist and the cake by Bluebird Bakery.  The band was Next Exit and the ceremony music was by Anna and Milovan Beljin.  I had not worked with either music group before but have given out both their names many times since.  Limo/shuttle service were by A Savannah Nite.  Working in an outdoor setting is much more work on a wedding planner but can be sooooo worth it it.  The Elegant Events team worked terribly hard but loved every minute of it.  The golf carts  the EE team got to drive always add a fun element to an ourdoor wedding.
