Debbie is keeping up on on her reading. She found some interesting tidbits to share with us
From the Get Married summer issue:
"Cigar Bars are the latest fun fad in after-dinner attractions for either rehearsal dinners or receptions. An educated cigar tender can be hired, & it's a great gift theme for groomsmen!
Toasting with champagne can be as individual as your style. For instance, if you're the Glamorous type, serve the bubbly throughout your reception. Choose a non-vintage Brut with appetizers, and then select a vintage champagne (maybe from the year that you two met) to be served with the main courses. If you're a Traditional bride, a classic, non-vintage Brut can be used for the toasts only. If you can afford to keep it flowing, have it at the bar. For the Casual chick, a Rose Champagne's pink color adds a romantic twist. Serve it with the wedding cake...it goes great! Finally, a Destination couple might opt for a light Blanc de Blancs with notes of Chardonnay that will be just as exotic as your setting!
In the May issue of Cosmo:
Some sexy cocktails to serve at your reception (or to name as your signature drink)...YUM!
