I heard the most touching story the other day about a florist in Texas. A friend of a friend lost her daughter in a tragic car accident shortly a week ago. My friend here in Cincinnati ordered a dozen and an 1/2 pink roses to be sent to the service for the young woman in Colllell Texas.. What a sad loss, she was only 20 years old and a sophmore in college. Anyway, the florist called back later that day and said they had read that the girl was only 20 years old and they (if it were ok with my friend) wanting to make the order of roses 20 stems, one for each year. How very thoughtful of this company. They are in Texas and will most likely never have business from my friend here in Cincy again but talk about personal service. I love that they made the effort and called her back and ask if it was okay. I love that they even thought about the girls age and to match the stem count. Sometimes in this crazy world someone pauses and does something so terribly human and lovely .I just had to share.... Cindy Florist in Coppell Texas. What a personal difference you made to someone here in Cincinnati. http://www.cindyflorist.com/prodetails.php?pid=614
This is absolutely tragic! It's amazing to think that the business actually cared about her loss enough to go to those lengths even though she's not a local customer. My heart goes out to your friend
